Should Women Submit to Men?

 

I believe this is a controversial, or even offensive topic, especially in this "gender confused" world. However, this command is actually found in the Bible, and was given for the most logical reason.

 

This Command was First Given to Eve

 

Even though most people do not pay particular attention to this, this command was actually first given to Eve after she has led Adam to eat the forbidden fruit.

 

Your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you. Genesis 3:16

 

 

Men Has More Responsibilities

 

Is God a male chauvinist? No! Instead, He was giving more responsibilities to men because Adam has God's full consciousness.

 

God created Adam in His own image, and He gave Adam HIs full consciousness when He breathed into his nostrils. God also put Adam in charge of the Garden of Eden and gave him dominion over every living creature.

 

Eve was created after Adam, and she was formed from Adam's body so she has less God consciousness than Adam. Men are supposed to know God's righteousness and to teach this to women! I believe when God gave this command, He was more like a father chiding his beloved son, "Adam, you should have done better!"

 

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him. ~ Genesis 1:27

 

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. ~ Genesis 2:7

 

And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made He a woman ... ~ Genesis 2:22

 

 

Disasters Were Brought When Men Failed to Teach This to Their Woman

 

Throughout Bible history, we can see how disasters have been brought when men failed to teach God's righteousness to their women.

 

• Adam followed Eve's advice to eat the forbidden fruit, and they were both cast out from the Garden of Eden

• Abraham followed Sarah's advice to have relationship with her slavegirl Hagar, and birthed a nation which is always at war with Israel

• Samson failed as God's judge which brought sufferings to his nation, and was cruelly killed because of his obsession with deceitful Delilah

• Even after Solomon had received full wisdom and power from God, Israel was divided into two nations after Solomon married many wives from Gentile nations, and was led to commit idolatry.

• King Ahab became almost the most wicked king in the history of Israel because of his wicked wife Jezebel.

 

 

This Command Was Given to Eve, Not Adam!

 

Note that this command was given to Eve, not Adam! God was not commanding Adam to subdue his wife. Instead, I believe God was gently reminding Eve, "Adam has more God consciousness than you. Don't just rely on your own judgment, listen to him!"

 

Also, I believe this command was not given as a punishment to Eve. God created Eve to be a weaker vessel, and He knew that Eve has less God consciousness than Adam. I believe this command was more like a reminder to Eve before they go out into the Fallen World - "when you cannot seek God's face, put more trust in your husband Adam who has more God consciousness than you".

 

To men, it is written in the Scriptures that they should honor their wives.

 

Likewise, you husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto your wives, as unto the weaker vessels ..... ~ 1 Peter 3:7

 

 

Does This Command Still Apply Today?

 

We are living in a world created by God! Everything in this universe is operating based on God's principles, and can only be successfully managed by people with the highest God consciousness who understand God's will and His ways.

 

Unfortunately, after living in this Fallen World for 6,000 years, many men no longer have any God consciousness left in them. On the contrary, some women who have received Jesus as their Savior are becoming more God-like through following teachings of the Holy Spirit.

 

As mentioned, this God created world can only be successfully managed by people who understand God's laws. Therefore, whether it is a man, a woman, or even a child, whoever has the highest God consciousness, let them rule! I believe this will bring the best outcome to a home, a business, or even a country! Remember, David was a better king than Saul even at his young age!

 

 

Listen to God, ALWAYS!

 

Most important of all, listen to God, ALWAYS! Men and women can change, but God does not change! Someone who has been Spirit filled can suddenly become oppressed by an evil spirit and act demonic. Therefore, do not put all your trust in any man, or woman!

 

God speaks through many things - human beings, animals, plants, weather, music and more. Just pay attention, and seek Him. He will be found!

 

And you shall seek Me, and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart. ~ Jeremiah 29:13
